Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a leader in the Defense Services industry, is looking for experienced Electronics Technician Maintenance (ETM) III to join our professional team at Ft Stewart providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP).

The Ft Stewart ETM III position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and associated equipment, primarily Combined Arms Military Operations in Urban Terrain MOUT Task Force (CAMTF), Digital Range Training System (DRTS), and/or Ground Tactical Engagement System, Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System)

Job Details:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform PMCS, troubleshoot and isolate faults

  • Use spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines

  • Research and select repair parts needed

  • Enter work order data in the on-line management information system (MIS)

  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved referencing manufacturer’s manuals or similar documents

  • Take test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes

  • May supervise, provide directions to, and check lower level technicians’ work

  • Some travel may be required.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting

  • 2 year Associate's Degree in electronics or related technical field preferred

  • Prior management or lead experience preferred

  • Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height (towers and phone poles).

  • Experience with HITS preferred.

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient with basic computer systems including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and be adaptable in a high paced environment.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and Post driving privileges.

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
