Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a leader in the Defense Services industry, is looking for an experienced Electronics Technician Maintenance (ETM) II to join our professional team at the Ft Stewart, GA providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP).

The Ft Stewart ETM II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and associated equipment with primary responsibility for Home station Instrumented Training System (HITS).

Job Details:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), troubleshoot and isolate faults.

  • Using spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines.

  • Researching and selecting repair parts needed.

  • Enter work order data in the on-line management information system (MIS).

  • Applying basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performing tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment.

  • Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.

  • Some travel may be required.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years’ experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting.

  • Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height (towers and phone poles).

  • Experience with HITS preferred.

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient with basic computer systems including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and be adaptable in a high paced environment.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and Post driving privileges.

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
