Aerotek Mechanical Intergrity Specialist in Savannah, Georgia

Mechanical Integrity Specialist will be responsible for the following functions:

  • Working knowledge of the following API standards 510 or 570 or 653 or 581. They will have the working knowledge on what each standard means and how it applies to the plant.

  • Utilizing NDE experience to perform various forms of testing and inspections around the plant.

  • Working with the current mechanical integrity engineering on potential risks in the plant or routine testing or inspections.

  • Experience working in the industrial piping environments, managing various sub-contractors who may come on site to assist with testing or inspections or repairs.

  • Analyzing data and managing data sheets or report

  • Utilizing the PCMS system that is proprietary to Kinder Morgan or experience using a similar system.

  • Utilizing Maximo for reporting and input of data from the inspections or testing.

  • Pull various ISO inspection reports for auditing.

  • Align various vendors that are needed for testing or inspection.

  • Working knowledge of atmospheric corrosion in the plant and how they work then adding all details around these issues as they arise to the inspection reports.

  • Attending various training to update or obtain new certs.

Work Environment:

Specialist will be working in the offices with the engineers or staff and in the plant with employees or the contractors. These jobs require a significant attention to detail so this person must be able to handle the pressure and deadlines that come along with this job.

Qualifications:

2 or 4 year technical degree 3 years of experience with one of the API standards listed above 3 years of working experience in a plant environment (can come from 3rd party)

Compensation: $78,000-$88,000
